A client needs six social media designs and two additional size adaptations. How do you show what the price includes? This worked quotation example separates deliverables, a discount, a deposit and the scope of the work.
This is a fictional example. Names, prices, deadlines and payment terms are for practice. They are not market rates or a quote from a real supplier.
Open the free quotation maker in English. It also supports Arabic, so you can prepare a quotation for an Arabic-speaking client.
1. Enter the deliverables as separate items
Choose USD for this example. Enter quantities and unit prices rather than putting every deliverable into one vague package.
| Item | Quantity | Unit price | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Social media post design, one size per design | 6 | USD 25.00 | USD 150.00 |
| Adaptation of an existing design to one additional size | 2 | USD 15.00 | USD 30.00 |
An adaptation is not a new design. State which two designs need the extra size, and agree the dimensions with the client before starting.
2. Check the discount and the final amount
- Subtotal: USD 150.00 + USD 30.00 = USD 180.00.
- Example discount: 5% of USD 180.00 = USD 9.00.
- Final quotation: USD 180.00 − USD 9.00 = USD 171.00.
Tax and delivery are zero in this practice example. This does not determine what taxes apply to your real business. Choosing a currency sets the quotation's denomination; it does not convert prices using an exchange rate.
3. Make the scope clear
You can adapt this sample scope to your actual service:
The quotation includes six original social media designs, two adaptations to additional sizes, and one consolidated revision round. The client supplies final text, images and brand assets before work starts. Delivery is within five working days after receiving the complete materials and the agreed deposit. Additional designs, new concepts after approval and further revision rounds require a revised quotation.
Replace the proposed duration and revision limit with terms you can meet. Specify the final file formats and whether editable design source files are included. Do not promise unlimited revisions unless that is actually part of your service.
4. Show the deposit separately
For this example, the proposed deposit is 30% of the final USD 171.00: USD 51.30. The remaining balance is USD 119.70. The deposit is part of the total, not an extra charge. These are example terms, not a payment arrangement processed by Ardak.
5. Review, save and print
- Open Ardak and enter the two items above with sample names.
- Set the 5% discount, add the scope and example payment terms, and check that the final amount is USD 171.00.
- Review the quotation before printing through your browser. Browser print settings determine the PDF layout.
- Save an editable backup if you want to reopen the quotation later or move it to another device.
Local drafts stay in the browser and do not sync. They are unencrypted, and clearing browser storage can remove them. Quote content is processed locally; Blogger may process technical visit data. Use fictional details for your first trial.
